Helen

Helen has worked in veterinary practice for several years, as an Animal Nursing Assistant, and then as a Registered Veterinary Nurse after qualifying from local college, Bicton. 

Helen enjoys all aspects of nursing - but mostly giving patients plenty of cuddles and TLC! Helen is also passionate about anaesthesia and monitoring patients during surgery. Helen takes particular interest in animal welfare and helping wildlife. She particularly adores hedgehogs and enjoys nursing and rehabilitating them so they can be returned to the wild - you’ll have seen some her rescue ‘hogs featured in our Facebook posts!

In Helen’s spare time you’ll find her running along the seafront, walking her dog, Flo (pictured), paddle boarding, cycling and looking after hedgehogs.
